此消息已被 SonyBMG (意大利) 及 SongBMG (美國) 證實：
Avril Lavigne 下一首正式推出的細碟為 "The Best Damn Thing"，並將會於五月推出。而 "Innocence" 將會是另一首造勢歌曲，意大利方面將會於 2 月 22 日推出。"Innocence" 只會用作電台播歌宣傳，歌迷亦可於網上合法下載，但 Avril 將不會為這首歌製作音樂錄影帶。
